Laguna San Ignacio is our home, and we want to stay here. We have been dedicated to fishing our whole lives and have witnessed the decline of our resources. We are changing our path through conservation.
Since 2014, we started engaging in conservation activities through sea turtle monitoring, with the intention of ensuring the sustainability of our resources and generating additional employment opportunities to sustain ourselves.
